Introducing anew route to Israel with Etihad Airways
United Arab Emirates – Etihad Airways, will launch daily scheduled flights to Tel Aviv, year-round, which is the “Silicon Valley” of Israel.
With the current peace treaty between UAE and Israel, and thediplomatic connection with these two nations, plus with the signing of the Abraham Accords on September 15th, 2020, Etihad became the premier carrier to operate commercialpassenger flights to this economic hub in Israel on October 19, 2020!
“Following the signing of the new bilateral agreement, Etihad is delighted to announce a direct connection between these important cities,” said Chief Operating Officer Mohammad Al Bulooki, “The commencement of scheduled flights is a historicmoment and as an airline, which cements Etihad’s commitment to growing opportunities for trade and tourism not just between the two countries, but also within the region and beyond.”
Starting on March 28, 2021, this new service will provide convenience and a larger choice for point-to-point leisure and business travelers, while allowing for promotions of direct inbound tourism to Abu Dhabi, as well as allowing UAE and Emiratis residents the chance to discover Israel’s Holy and historic sites, beaches, and with great dining at local restaurants and night life.
Departures will be timed, conveniently, to connect with Abu Dhabi to key terminals across Etihad Airways including such destinations as Australia, Thailand, India and China.
On flights with Etihad Airways via Abu Dhabi, you will be introduced to the Etihad Wellness Sanitation and Safety Program (The first in its class), which maximizes the highest standards of cleanliness and sterilization maintained at every stage of the passenger’s journey. The wellness ambassadors are specially trained by the airline to provide travel health information and support on the ground, as well as on every flight, so you can fly with greater piece of mind.
